White Ice is quarried from a bedrock quarry in Espirito Santo, Brazil. Having a white background with golden and gray movement, this granite has beautiful, subtle character. It is possible to have some gold spots in this granite, which are due to oxidation of small amounts of iron in some of the blocks. During the polishing process, an epoxy resin is applied to the surface of the stone to fill in any natural pits, cracks or fissures that may exist.
